Vision for Youth Engagement
Youth engagement is the signature of the Jim Casey Youth Opportunities Initiative. The Initiative believes that in order to create better outcomes young people need to be engaged in planning for their futures after leaving foster care. Youth leadership boards in sites where the Initiative invests are the primary means of engaging young people in the community effort and in planning for their own futures.

The Initiative expects to partner with 12 communities by 2005. Requests to partner with the Initiative will be made on an invitation-only basis.
